Window Pains

An aging man struggles to fix his computer; the effort sends him down a spiral of comic frustration and rage. He faces error messages, customer service lines, and the limits of human patience. Ultimately the man must face the truth: in the world of computing technology, nothing works, and nobody cares. When you're on hold, no one can hear you scream.

Lilium Urbanus

Lilium Urbanus is a collaborative senior thesis project by Anca Risca and Joji Tsuruga, recent graduates of SVA. Music and Sound FX are by Dante Nou.

Lilium Urbanus tells the story of a growing city in the form of a Lily. Starting from an empty field, the first step to a city's growth is a small village. Electricity flows through the town, larger and larger structures grow, and a transit system is formed. Finally, an airport blooms to spread its seeds to farther places. The city is a living organism that is constantly growing. When it has fully expanded, it disperses its extra resources to create new cities.
